This one's been extremely fascinating ... my mind is blown every single class period and it is literally life changing. |
I'd read the teen version of this book when I was younger, so its neat to read the "grown-up" version. It's for my Youth Ministry class, so we're applying it to our future work, which is fascinating and really making me think. |
Let's be honest ... any book with "cheese" in the title is setting itself up for puns. And when two of the characters are names "Hem" and "Haw", its easy to question the seriousness of the topic. But again, this book made me think, What is the change in my life that is inevitable, and am I going to run away from it, deal with it when it comes, or anticipate it and act before it surprises me? |
| OK. Seriously though. I know I've brought up Pentatonix before, but they just released a new EP, and it's fantastic. They included original songs as well as some current hits. I was particularly excited to see Papaoutai on there; it's a French pop song that I somehow heard about a couple months ago and have been mildly obsessed with. {I may or may not know the French lyrics...} {I also don't know how I came across the original French song in the first place. I attribute it to my obsession with France and my inability to let go of the fact that I haven't taken French classes in 3 years. Ufda. |
Have a beautiful weekend!
